Break out the google because you’re going to need it. Ariana made another song and she decided to enlist a DJ that no one had heard of and that many think is the cat from Paula Abdul danced with in her one music video, but sadly we aren’t good enough to get that. So here is our review of Cashmere Cat and Ariana Grande’s song “Adore.”
Lyrically and vocally, the song is amazing. The song shows off how Ariana’s voice in a way where it isn’t annoying nor songs the same as the rest of Ariana’s work to where it’s more interesting to listen to a cat meowing while being autotuned. The song is pretty much a hit.
What’s not working for it? The randomness of the song of the instrumental that Cashmere Cat composed along with his name. Who in the hell thought of that name? Did he wake up one morning and decided to put on a cashmere sweater and had that “ah ha” moment where his love of cats clicked with his fashion. Anyways, while the majority of instrumental was awesome and was a perfect fit, parts of it felt like it was a bit off. Like he was high on cat nip and decided to live life on the edge of his cat bed.
Overall, the song is a great song and I would highly recommend listen to it below. But it not as good as their last song on Ariana’s album “My Everything”:
