In the final Top 5ive of the week, it’s time to look at the big screen movie that made everyone go to the theatre just to see what the hell happens to Gabriella and Troy. While it’s the most musically strong, here The Pop Project’s Top 5ive:
5. Now or Never
An amazing opener to the movie because it literally made you go “wow, this is really well done.” It was the first song that was released from the movie, and the first clip we saw. It really made the movie stand out from HSM and HSM2. The song was catchy and very very stereotypical. Like when Gabrielle and Troy have a moment in the middle of the game, who the f does that?
4. A Night to Remember
It’s the song about Prom. It’s probably the flashy and most choreographed number in the show, besides the Sharpay numbers. That’s all really to say about it, it speaks for itself.
3. Just Wanna Be With You
It’s just so catchy and makes you go “awww” because it’s amazing and sweet Groy number that makes the feels just come out. Especially when they did it again at the end when Groy breaks up again and Troy drives for the first time in the series to find Gabriella. Yeah, it was sweet. Troy is a pompous ass in the musical when performing this song because he ruins Kelsi’s playing.
2. We’re All In This Together
Yes, it made the list twice because the Graduation Mix is pretty much amazingly done with little instruments and all vocals. It’s vocals better than the one featured in our Top 5ive of HSM. It also brings the feels
1. I Want it All
It’s the song that literally is why it became a franchise. It’s literally the best song that has come out of series. It’s perfection. It starts out slow and then hits it’s mark and speeds up like it’s nobody’s business. It gets stuck in your head and you don’t want it out. It’s also the big moment in the movie where it all comes together and they finally full “break free” of all the social barriers.
