For a small moment, I’m adding fashion blogger to my resume because there are things that people are wearing that really grinds my gears. It’s fashion that really needs to die and never com back because it’s the worst. Without further ado, here is some of the fashion that I think needs to go-aka Crimes against Fashion:
- Wearing polo shirts and gym shorts: You need to make up your mind of this one because you can’t wear both. Either you are dressing for comfort or you are looking to dress business casual. Polo shirts only look good when you are wearing pants or short that don’t make sounds in the wind. The only time that is allowed is when you are under the age of 13 or it’s the 90s again. Other than that, no one should wear polo shirts with gym shorts. You will look like a tool and no one likes a tool.
- Fake tattoo arm sleeves: What purpose do these really have? They don’t look like real tattoos so it’s fooling no one. It’s slightly screams “I’m wear this to prove that I’m a badass but I am not.” They weren’t even cool when they first came out. If you are wearing one, buckle up and actually get a real tattoo sleeve. If you didn’t want one, then you won’t be wearing one.
- Socks and Sandals: Do I really need to go over this again!?! The point of sandals is to wear them in cool down because it’s too hot to wear regular shoes. Putting socks on with sandals is totally defeating that purpose of sandals. It also looks very tacky. If you are single, definitely don’t do this because its will make you single forever. Especially don’t this with flip-flops, that looks uncomfortable and painful.
- No one wants to see if your thong: People, you need to pull up your pants because showing people who you are wearing a thong is nothing but gross and not right. It was slightly cool in the late 90s and early 00s but now it isn’t. It makes you look like you don’t have any class. Hide your thong if you are going to wear one. And on that subject, will someone please tell me how people find thongs are comfortable? It looks very comfortable.
These are some of crimes against fashion that come to mind. If you have anymore you would like to add, feel free to add them in the comments below.
