Ariana Grande, John Legend do Beauty and Beast

Today, all of hopes and dreams were answered as Disney released the Ariana Grande and John Legend version of “Beauty and Beast” for the live action remake of the 1991 Disney classic. They teased us in the final¬†trailer for the movie because “It’s all about the teasin’ and not about the pleasin'”

While the song isn’t the masterpiece sung by Celine Dion and the original Mrs. Potts, Angela Lansberry, it’s still amazing. Let’s be real a moment-no one will EVER top Ms. Lansberry nor the French Canadian Queen. This song is pretty much all Ariana Grande and I say Thank You to Disney because she stayed the vocals….John Legend is also good as well. The song doesn’t have the emotion power that the original has and the arrangement is also a weird one. At times, it feels like it was a karaoke version that they paid someone to make more grand. Then when it picks up and gets more “In your face,” it feels like Ariana was holding back. Like they didn’t let her “park and bark.” If they would have let her, then it would have kicked it up a notch.

Overall, it’s an amazing. Just missing some parts to make it a masterpiece, especially when most of its audience was fans of the original version. Beauty and Beast will be released on March 17, 2017. Boy, I cannot wait.

Here’s a preview of the song for your ears to enjoy and thank you later:
