Camila Cabello drops two new songs ‘Havana’ and ‘OMG’

It’s been a busy weekend for the former Fifth Harmony member as she decided to rock our core with brand new songs from her upcoming debut album “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.” While these aren’t official singles, they do offer a quick look into the what to really expect from an album we pretty much heard nothing about besides some little things.

Camila released “Havana” and “OMG.” Both songs are bangers and both are jams. “Havana” features Young Thug and is the strong song out of the two. It just pure pop and catchier than a case of herpes from a dollar stripper. It has a beat that you can groove to and is just sultry enough to be sexy. It’s just a bouncy beat with lyrics that just go with the flow.  And Young Thug is featured briefly on the track and it’s just enough to make the song and not be too much. It’s literally just a perfect song. The only bad thing about is that it left me wanting more.

“OMG” is a club banger that shows her voice better than “Crying in the Club.” While nothing will beat that, it sounds more like her. The beats are sick and fit so well with the vocals on the song and flow. Quavo is on the song and like Young Thug, he isn’t too much into the song but just the right amount. I just wish that the song had a better ending because it literally stops mid beat. When I first listened to it, I thought it was the device that I was listening on messing up. Nope, it’s just how the song ended.

“Havana” and “OMG” are great promotional tracks for Camila’s upcoming record. Her music has been better than anything that Fifth Harmony has put out since she left. I can’t wait to see what the album offers.

“The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.” is released on September 22nd.’
