Justin Bieber has pissed off the fans. Bieber announced that he wouldn’t take pictures with fans anymore. Here’s the statement that was given via instagram (because who needs to a publicist to release a statement):
“If you happen to see me out somewhere know that I’m not gonna take a picture. I’m done taking pictures. It has gotten to the point that people won’t even say hi to me or recognize me as a human. I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to to keep my sanity. I realize people will be disappointed, but I don’t owe anybody a picture. And people who say, ‘But I bought ur album,” know that you got my album and you got what you paid for… AN ALBUM! It doesn’t say in fine print whenever you see me you also get a photo.”
There is a fine line between getting a picture with your favorite celebrity and stalking a celebrity. Why I think it’s good for a celebrity to embrace their fans and to “give back” to them, it’s important for the fans to respect them without making feel like they aren’t people. If you were famous, wouldn’t you want to be treated like a person?
I think that Bieber had the right idea with this but could have done it in a more profound statement rather than just say “I’m done.” By just doing that, you just look like a tool. Sure, you explained why but it’s overshadowed by how you did it with no warning and your actions. Bieber, you just cancelled your meet and greets then dropped this bomb shell.
Bieber had the right idea and I totally understand where he is coming from because he trying to get some sort of sanity back. Sadly, in his field, there isn’t a whole lot of room for that no matter how hard you try. Either you learn of ways to cope with it, without totally cutting out your fans, or you leave it. This actually starts another conversation that of how this generation wants their 15 minutes of fame but doesn’t want all that goes with it.

So this is going to be a rant because frankly, I’m a bit annoyed with the situation.
As all of you are now aware, 5 Seconds of Summer did an interview in the newest edition of “Rolling Stone” magazine, which will be out in January 2016. In the interview, All four members pretty much let it all out. From their partying ways to having sex with fans, it’s all in this article. This is causing people to lose their mind and their fans to pretty much want to throw all their 5SOS merch into a firey pit.
They are a freaking rock band. No one bats an eye when bands like Motley Crue or Nickelback talk about having sex on tour (sidenote: I know that no one really have sex with the members of Nickelback, but let’s just pretend for the sake of this article). They are young, famous, and it the spotlight. They are going to drink and have lots of sex with lots of girls that they meet on the road. Some of them will be groupies.
I get that some of the verbage used wasn’t the right way to come off but let’s be real for a moment–the article says that Luke Hemmings “wanders downstairs to the kitchen, unshaven, wearing only a T-shirt and tight black boxer briefs.” That sentences just screams like a teenage girl fanfic on Tumblr. If you are going to cry “wolf” that they are objectify women with their comments, they I’m going to “wolf” too because the writer of the article, which is a male, objectified Luke with the comment of “tight black boxer briefs.”
And yes, I get that they have a fan base of teenagers but their fan base also write boardline pornographic fan fictions where they have sex with the members and go into grave details. Their fan base have written/read way worse stuff.
I applaud them for their openness and honesty. While I question how much was made up by the writer, it was refreshing to see a band do an interview like this so openly. They definitely broke their boy band reputation with the interview.

After weeks/months of speculating about what Bruce Jenner’s female counterpart would look like, we finally got the reveal with her cover of Vanity Fair. So now introducing Caitlyn Jenner:
The magazine cover comes after Caitlyn Jenner revealed to Diane Sawyer that she is a transgender and preparing to transition into the woman from a man. This would later being document in an extremely well done two-part episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” where it should the human side of the family and how they were coming to terms with Caitlyn’s secret.
Since Vanity Fair released the cover to show Caitlyn and her beauty, the internet world has shown their support with praises and compliments. They even got #CallMeCaitlyn trending on twitter.
I’m really proud of Caitlyn and that she’s finally happy and able to the live that she has always wanted to live.
The Vanity Fair issue with Caitlyn is scheduled to be released this summer.
As you are probably aware, the Bruce Jenner interview aired last night, In the interview, Bruce Jenner revealed that he is Transitioning into a women (note: in the interview, Bruce and Diane Sawyer stated that the use of the name “Bruce” and use of the pronouns he/his/him are still right while he is Transitioning. So I’ll be using Bruce Jenner and male pronouns in the article.) The interview itself was rather compelling as the world got a glimpse into the struggle that Bruce has gone through during his life and coming to the realization that he was born in the wrong body. Woven through the interview was information on the struggle and how far the Transgender community has come over the years. It even informed viewers on terminology and what each word means. The whole broadcast was extremely informational. It opened many people’s eyes.
Bruce’s journey pretty much shows the pain that a person struggling with their Gender identity issues and being able to come to terms with the fact they are Transgender. It showed it in a different light. It allowed people to really understand it because of how openly Bruce was in the interview. From the event that made Bruce thinking about committing suicide to letting his family know about him Transitioning. Then it even covered his first wives and his children’s’ support and reaction to the news. You got to see the love that his children had for him and how much they support him and want him to be happy.
The biggest thing I think to take away from this is the use of straight, gay, lesbian after he Transitions. Bruce summed that topic up prefectly:
“There’s two different things here. Sexuality is who you personally are attracted to—who turns you on— male or female. But gender identity has to do with who you are as a person and your soul, and who you identify with inside, okay?”
Pretty much, you love who you love-don’t label it.
Besides all Transgender info, Bruce has taught us to live life the way we want to because you never know when you might die and it will be too late to. Don’t try to please other with the way you live your life, just live it the way you want to. If they truly cared about you, they will still like. It also taught us that Kayne West is actually brilliant because he understood Bruce’s situation to where he made Kim Kardashian West understand it better. Kayne just told her that he could have everything he we wanted but it would mean nothing if he couldn’t be himself. Preach.
I highly recommend watching the interview, especially if you don’t understand being Transgender and what it is. I would recommend watching it if you just were looking for something special and interesting to watch. It really was a must see interview. I hope Bruce can successfully continue down his path and be happy finally living his life the way he wants to.
