It’s time to get a little dark in the “Venom” Trailer”
Sony released the trailer the upcoming spin-off movie for the “Spider-Man” franchise. Yep, the franchise that can’t even decide what they want it to be after the countless number of films finally has a spin-off. One would think nailing down a direction would be first on the list, but I guess that why I don’t work in the film industry. Also, are we just going to forget that Venom was in the awful “Spider-Man 3?”
“Venom” stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, a journalist that is infected with an alien symbiote that bonds with Brock and tries to help Brock reach his potential. Typically in the Marvel universe, the Venom character has been a villain. Most famously, Venom is the one of the archenemies of Spider-Man. Since it’s in the Sony Marvel Universe, Venom is going with the anti-hero route. The movie is directed by Ruben Fleischer, who is best known for his first feature film “Zombieland.”
“Venom” doesn’t look your typical superhero/Marvel film. The trailer does give off this extremely gritty vibe to it. The film doesn’t have a rating yet, but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t have an R rating. The way that the movie looks to be shoot and presented is one that would terrify the children that go to this movie with their unexpecting parents. Marvel seems to be trying to give the movies like this one that rating after the success of “Deadpool” and “Logan.”
This is the first trailer to include the first look at the Venom suit. The suit itself look like extremely badass and frankly, quite terrifying. It’s the thing that nightmares make when you take a bunch acid mixed with heroin. It wouldn’t be Venom if he didn’t terrify people. The movie does look like it will be extremely good.
Venom will be out in theatres on October 5th, 2018.

“Teen Titans Go” gets their own theatrical movie…sigh
The series that literally is a parody of the original series has its own movie. Like, what the real fuck? Where was this when the “Teen Titans” were around? Where’s the “Young Justice” theatrical movie? I guess they weren’t as lucky to get their own movie.
CLICK HERE TO READ ABOUT WHY THEY SHOULD HAVE LEFT “TEEN TITANS” ALONE
For those that aren’t aware that “Teen Titans Go!” exist, you are very lucky. But its focus more on the lives outside of the crime fighting. I go more in-depth in the link underneath the GIF. But the movie follows the group as they try to become relevant. Robin wants to be seen as a star instead of just Batman’s sidekick. They end up getting with Slade Wilson for his help in making them relevant again. Slade has other plans as he uses this opportunity to take over world.
Thoughts on it:
The trailer itself is actually rather funny when it’s breaking the fourth wall. “Teen Titans Go! to the Movies” is literally making fun of the fact at how many superhero movies we have and how it seems like every hero has one. This sets up why they want to have a movie and become relevant. The part I didn’t like was the fart joke in it. Sure, it set up the feel for this family friendly movie. But it could have done it more tastefully. As soon as the air started coming out of the monster’s butt, I knew exactly what was going to happen. Also, having Raven in on it as well didn’t help.
“Teen Titans Go!” by itself is good but I don’t think it needed a movie. It will be interesting to see how well the 15 minutes episodes format is taken to a longer format. Hopefully, it’s not just a movie geared towards just kids but rather everyone. But by the fart joke, it’s probably geared towards just kids. sigh.
“Teen Titans Go! to the Movies” is out in theaters in July 27, 2018. Here’s the teaser for it:

Wanna play a game?
It’s the new year and it’s time for all the new movie trailers to be released so you have something to be waiting for. This year is no different as we have a twistedly twisted twist on a childhood/adulthood/drunken game that everyone plays. Someone finally turned the game of truth or dare in to a horror movie. No, it’s not based on being dared to streak around the place or anything like that.
Jennifer Lawrence sums up my life
“Truth or Dare” stars Lucy Hale from “Pretty Little Liars” and Tyler Posey from “Teen Wolf.” Pretty much, it’s all the teen stars from your childhood. It follows a group of college students who go on a trip to Mexico and end up playing a supernatural game of truth or dare that doesn’t end. It gets even better because the game never ends. LITERALLY. Haunted by spirits, the college students continue to play the game. If they decided to tell a lie or not take a dare, they will die. It gets pretty gruesome too. In the trailer, it shows literally someone breaking their neck off a pool table. It’s your standard horror movie.
The movie itself doesn’t look bad at all. It’s a little too gruesome and gory for me but it got me interested with how the trailer was laid out. I spent the majority of the trailer going “Is that insertteenstar?” which worked for the trailer. The trailer highlighted the plot of the movie without ruining too much of it. That’s big because trailers these day tend to show too much about the movie to where you feel like you’ve already seen it.
Here’s the trailer for the movie. “Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare” will be out in theaters on April 27.

The Winner Takes it All
Today, my world was shaken because we were blessed with the first look at the sequel to the 2008 Broadway musical turned movie musical “Mamma Mia!”
“Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again!” follows after the events of the first movie, I’m going to guess like a year because Sophie, played by Amanda Seyfried, is pregnant and without the guidance of Meryl Streep, aka her and everyone’s mother. That is right, they fucking killed off Meryl Streep in this movie. They have “confirmed” that she’s dead but there are subtle hints throughout the trailer. Anyways, the gang gets back together on the island to help Sophie cope with her anxiety about taking care of a child without her beloved late mother. This starts a bunch of flashbacks about how her mother met her three dads (if you haven’t seen the first movie, this is extremely confusing). It pretty much sets up how it all started.
The trailer itself actually doesn’t look bad at all. It actually looks better than the first one. The big news out of all of this is the fact that motherfucking CHER is Meryl Streep’s mother. As soon as I saw that Cher was in this movie, I was shaking. Then I saw that she was actually Meryl’s mother. My world turned upside down and I died a pop culture death. Overall, this movie looks to be everything and I am here for this. I just hope the music is good. The original music wasn’t bad but it could have been way better.
Here’s the trailer for the movie. It will be released July 20, 2018. Of course, that could change in between now and then. It is Hollywood after all.
