Liam Payne and J Balvin released the steamy video for their latest song
It only took five singles but we finally have a music video that has Liam Payne with his shirt off. That’s right, we finally have the video for his single with Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin.
The video for “Familiar” is pretty much everything that one could have only dreamed of when listening to the song original. The video features Liam and J Balvin having a good time in Miami. They start off on the roof where Liam gets down shirtless as the dancers compete against each other. It quickly then goes into the club where Liam puts his shirt back on, gets some backup dancers, and bust out some rather good-looking choreography. During all this, J Balvin is pretty much just standing around like he owns the place, which he probably does.
The video is probably one of the best videos that Liam has put out. While it doesn’t really have a plot to it, it does follow the lyrics extremely well. The video offers more to the song than what one originally got from just listening to the song. I just really want to know why they didn’t have the dance off in the club and not on the roof. Also, how did they get the car on the roof?
Overall, the music video for “Familiar” is a fun video that allows Liam to continue to grow as an artist and show he’s more than just a pretty face with nice vocals. I cannot wait for his album to be released just to hear what else he has to offer.

Former One Direction member Liam Payne has finally given the world another song that will make people want to grind on each other too. That seems to what Liam is trying to do with all of his songs. Liam is definitely trying to channel his inner Nick Jonas. I don’t think anyone has a problem with that either.
“Familiar” is a mix of Latin and R&B music and it’s just a fun bop. It’s Liam’s strongest single to date. “Bedroom Floor.” “Get Low,” and “Strip that Down” aren’t bad songs but they just anything too spectacular. “Familiar” is catchy from start to finish. It will get stuck in your head. The song also features some bilingual lyrics as well because you can’t have a latin song without some Español. The lyrics are extremely dirty. There are definitely some hidden and not so hidden innuendos in there.
Many of you reading this are probably wondering who is J Balvin. Don’t worry, you aren’t alone. J Balvin is a Colombian reggaeton singer that is best known for doing a song with a little-known singer called BEYONCE! Balvin has been around since 2014. Liam Payne’s collaboration doesn’t seem like it’s apart of musical “Big Brother Big Sister” program, that’s when a more popular artist “adopts” a less popular artist to help make them popular. The collaboration does work really well even though J. Bavlin is only on it for a hot second.
The only thing against the song is that it sounds like they are trying to capture the hype that “Despacito” got from around the world. “Despacito” is still fresh in everyone’s mind, mainly because it’s still getting played, it’s going to be compared to it. “Familiar” sounds like “Despacito” beat wise and slightly lyrically. It’s more so on the overall beat. Still, it’s a catchy beat but they could have at least tried to have made it different.
Overall, “Familiar” is one of the best songs that Liam Payne has done. It really show that his debut album will be something to look at for because it will be straight fire. The downside with a track like this is that the popular thing to do today is to add a little Latin flair and try to make it blow up like “Despacito.”

Liam and Rita get kinky in song from “Fifty Shades Freed” soundtrack
Fan girls everywhere rejoice! They finally get a Liam Payne in a “Fifty Shades” scenario. Kind of. Mr. Payne, who’s last name is perfect for BDSM, teamed up with Rita Ora for a song for the last movie in the “Fifty Shades” trilogy called “Fifty Shades Freed.” While I have openly made fun of the movie, they have given us quality bops. This is no different.
This is only here because I find this funny. C’mon, it’s pretty funny
Before we dive into this gem, let’s answer the questions on your mind: No, there isn’t a music video where Liam is shirtless, tired up, and being taken advantage of. And Rita Ora is a British singer who is in the movies. Rita also sang a few hits but she’s more popular across the pond. If you are British and she is as popular there as she is in the States, please let me know. Anyways, “For You” is pretty much just one big radio friendly song. It’s a motherfucking banger. Not really sure what the lyrics are about because I was jamming out.
My only complaint with “For You” is that it seems that they decided the last minute to add Liam to the song. It’s pretty much dominated by Rita. Liam is barely heard in the chorus and then only has one verse. Unless he chained up and being taken advantage of in the music video, Liam just feels extremely out-of-place. They really should have just had Rita sing the entire song. It’s less of a duet and more of Rita Ora (featuring Liam Payne).
“For You” is a quality jam like all the other songs the soundtracks of “Fifty Shades” trilogy. Take a listen for yourself:
I certify that this song is a bop, bop, bop, bop to the top

Looks like we have another contender for song of the summer. sigh. How many of these songs are we going to as contender for song of the summer? But Liam Payne should have a higher chance to have it since he just released a new song of the summer.
“Get Low” is a dance song released by Zedd and Liam Payne. I like to think of it as “Strip That Down” on steroids. It’s a song that is based on the same premise just feels a little more fleshed out. It’s a sexy club song that helps break Liam away from his boy band image that was practically shredded away in his debut song.
It’s a catchy song with an even catchier beat. The song has a Drake vibe to it, which I’m honestly tired of. Either get Drake to perform your song or go with any other style. The vocals on the song are rather robotic. Sometimes it feels like it goes with the emotion and the sexiness the song is trying to give off but then other times, it just feels like Liam is just singing. It would have been nice to have something that makes his vocals feel different from what we got. Something to spice up it up.
I really hope that the video that’s on YouTube for it isn’t the official video because it isn’t the video that you would expect for something like this. If it’s not, then hopefully it is the video we wanted for “Strip That Down” and just be just one big sexual powerhouse of a video.
“Get Low” is a very good dance song that could really actually be a summer hit, too bad there’s like a million of contenders for it. It could be a little bit better when it comes to vocals but it’s good for what it’s worth.
